Who is this training for?
Organisations working with the following client group:
- Youth groups aged 10-19
- Adult groups facing drug/alcohol addiction
- Adult groups facing homelessness
- Elderly groups prone to slips and falls
Topics covered will be the following crisis situations:
- Diabetic emergency
- Broken bone
- Heart attack
- Unresponsive and breathing
- Unresponsive and not breathing
Delivered by the British Red Cross, this session is designed to help break down the barriers that prevent people from stepping in to help in a crisis situation. There are no tests, complicated bandages and dressings and no medical jargon. While the session is not accredited, an A5 certificate of learning can be provided if requested. Please note that participants must be over 18 years old.
