The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) will be running an information workshop on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the VASLan offices on the 8th February 2018.
The aim of the workshop will be to help attendees understand data protection and what the upcoming GDPR will mean for their organisation. Links will be provided to useful resources including ICO guidance, data audit tools and free training resources.
- Understand what constitutes personal data
- Understand the data protection principles and how to work safely and securely with personal data
- Know what the GDPR is and how to prepare for it
The workshop will be from 10am-1pm at Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire, 155 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton, ML3 6LQ.
