First World War Then and Now (HLF) Small: Up to £10,000 Open First World War: then and now provides grants of £3,000 to £10,000 for communities to mark the Centenary of the First World War. With a grant from us you could make a real difference to a wide range of people by helping them understand the war and its impact better. In particular, we believe that involving young people in marking the Centenary is important.

Forestry Commission Scotland – Community Fund Medium: Up to £100,000 31 Mar 2018 Open The Forestry Commission Scotland’s Community Fund supports community groups and organisations to encourage and support people to use woods more in order to improve the health and well-being of people and their communities. Funding is on a sliding scale: -    100% for projects up to a total cost of £5,000 -    Up to 90% for projects with a total cost of between £5,001 - £20,000 -    Up to 75% for projects exceeding £20,000 Applicants should contact their local FCS Conservancy office for more information.
Foundation Scotland Express Grants Small: Up to £10,000 Open Our Express Grants can help meet a wide range of costs, including general running costs such as rent or staff salaries; activities and events; equipment or materials; marketing and awareness-raising initiatives and training. Express Grants are available up to £2,000. These awards are made up of money from the many different funds we distribute on behalf of companies, individuals and charitable trusts. We match the applications we receive to the criteria of the various funds we have available at any time. These criteria determine which parts of Scotland, or which types of project any particular fund can be used for.
Foyle Foundation Large: Over £100,000 Open The Foyle Foundation is an independent grantmaking trust that distributes grants to UK charities. The Foundation does not support applications from individuals.
