Business as Usual

Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire are following all government advice on how to respond to the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, we will keep the Third Sector and stakeholders informed of any changes in our working practices and services.

In line with this advice, as of Friday 20th March 2020 we introducing a ‘Work from Home’ model until further notice. Our staff have been provided with the necessary infrastructure to ensure that we can maintain support and contact with South Lanarkshire’s Third Sector and our partners.

As part of our response we are making changes to some of our key business activities to protect the well-being of our members and staff.  Please see below some updates on our upcoming activities.

We will endeavour to keep you informed through regular communication.

TRAINING

All training has been postponed for the foreseeable future.  Access to our online information / training resources will be maintained.

NETWORKS

All face to face Networks / Contact has been cancelled.  We have in place online facilities to maintain ongoing contact between our staff and partners.

VOLUNTARY SECTOR AWARDS

More details to follow however it is highly likely that this process will be postponed.

CONTACT

Although the office will be closed from Friday 20th March, all our staff have access to e-mails and any necessary files, we have in place systems to make sure we are available to support our members and the Third Sector Groups and Communities remotely.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Our Communications officer will continue to maintain all our social media and our website and the Locator toll will continue to be available.

ROOM BOOKINGS
