Living Wage Week - Business Breakfast

Friday 10th November

8am-10am

South Lanarkshire College will host the Living Wage Business Breakfast to celebrate the real Living Wage, bringing together employers from a range of sectors to network and share their experience.

Get yourself along and find out about the business and social benefits of being a real Living Wage employer.  You will have the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers on the relevance of the Living Wage to your organisation.

The event is free to attend and a buffet breakfast will be served in the award winning Training Restaurant (previous winner of College Restaurant of the Year).

Attendees will also find out more about an exclusive offer available to South Lanarkshire based employers.

The real Living Wage is independently calculated each year, and is based on the cost of living.  There are almost 1000 accredited Living Wage employers in Scotland and 3500+ across the UK.  Living Wage Week (5th-11th Nov 2017) is the annual celebration of the Living Wage employer movement across the UK.

This a joint event between South Lanarkshire College, South Lanarkshire Community Planning Partnership's Living Wage Steering group and The Poverty Alliance.
