Third Sector Consultation Event: South Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Community Planning Partnership Strategic Plans
This VASLan hosted event will allow third sector representatives to have their say on the development of two new strategic plans:
- South Lanarkshire Council Sustainable Development Strategy 2022-27
- South Lanarkshire Community Planning Partnership's Community Plan 2022-32.
The Sustainable Development Strategy 2022-27 covers the key themes of people, communities and place, the natural environment and green economy, with the vision of building a sustainable, climate resilient and net-zero South Lanarkshire together, in a safe and inclusive way. This consultation event will allow you to have your say on these key themes and how these will address any current issues and concerns that you may have.
From the original Community Plan 2022-32 consultation last year, three key ambitions have been identified:
- People (investing in people by finding ways to share power and resources)
- Progress (making progress by investing in learning together and how we can do things better)
- Planet (investing in our planet by putting local areas at the centre of our work).
The event will allow you to have your say on these ambitions, how you would like to get involved in making changes in your community and what kind of things can be done to help you get involved.
