Unveiling VASLan's Impact Report 2022/2023: A Year of Resilience and Growth

We are excited to announce the release of our Impact Report for the 2022/2023 financial year. As we delve into the highlights of this report, we invite you to join us in celebrating the incredible strides we've made together and the growth and success we've seen across South Lanarkshire’s Third Sector.

Supporting Over 400 Third Sector Organisations

At VASLan, we are committed to nurturing a thriving third sector. In the past financial year, we proudly supported over 400 Third Sector organisations across South Lanarkshire. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to provide guidance, resources, and mentorship - helping these organisations grow and amplify their impact in the community.

Distributing Over £4 Million in Funds Across the Region

Funding is crucial to bring transformative change, and we are delighted to announce that we distributed over £4 million in funds across the region. These funds empowered Third Sector organisations to implement innovative projects, provide essential services, and address pressing community needs.

Amplifying the Voices of the Third Sector

In an ever-changing landscape, it is vital to ensure that the voices of the third sector are heard. We took significant steps to enable and promote the voices of these organisations, creating a platform for them to share their experiences, challenges, and successes. By doing so, we've fostered a stronger sense of community and collaboration.

Reacting to the Cost-of-Living Crisis

The past year posed unique challenges, and we are proud to have reacted swiftly to address the cost-of-living crisis. VASLan mobilized resources to support those affected by the rising costs, offering practical solutions and assistance to organisations across the region. We believe in taking action when our community needs us most and responding to the needs of the sector.

Building Our Locality Networks

Strengthening community ties is at the core of our mission. In the past year, we made significant progress in building and expanding our locality networks. These networks have become hubs of collaboration, bringing together organisations, volunteers, and community members to work collectively for the greater good of South Lanarkshire.
