Central Scotland Green Network - Development Fund

Greenspace projects that will improve the environment across Scotland's central belt can now apply for a share of a £350,000 funding boost, contributing to the delivery of Europe’s largest greenspace initiative.

The fund aids the development and implementation of projects delivering the Central Scotland Green Network on the ground. Projects should deliver at least one of the following priorities: Woodlands; Community Food Growing; Strategic Routes; Active Travel. In addition, projects that contribute to greening of vacant or derelict land and community growing, environmental or access improvements in disadvantaged communities will be prioritised. The CSGN Development Fund is managed by the Central Scotland Green Network Trust, with funding provided by Forestry Commission Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, Transport Scotland and the Scottish Government.
