VASLan regrets to advise that the Third Sector Hustings scheduled for Wednesday 22 April 2026 at Carluke Lifestyles has been cancelled.

This decision has been made due to low participant numbers, which means we would not be able to deliver the event in a way that ensures a meaningful and balanced discussion for the sector.

The event was promoted widely to our membership of approximately 800 organisations via email, alongside activity across our website and social media channels from 30th March 2026. Promotion continued throughout the two-week Easter period. It is possible that the timing of this activity, coinciding with the holiday break, contributed to lower levels of engagement.

We recognise the importance of creating opportunities for the third sector to engage with candidates and are disappointed not to be able to proceed as planned. VASLan remains committed to supporting the voice of the sector and will consider alternative ways to facilitate engagement in the future.

We would like to thank those who have showed interest in the event and those who supported its promotion.
