Mental Health & Wellbeing Network for Children, Young People & Families

A thematic network has been established to enhance mental health and wellbeing services for children, young people, and families in South Lanarkshire. Open to all third sector and public sector organisations/groups, this network aims to create connections, enhance the knowledge of already existing mental health and wellbeing services, and prioritise mental health support in the community.”
“Network events are held quarterly throughout the year and rotate between local areas, including Clydesdale, East Kilbride, CamGlen, and Hamilton. These events feature presentations, interactive workshops, and Q&A sessions, offering valuable opportunities to enhance services, explore partnership possibilities, and share insights with others in the sector.

Collaboration is essential to enhance services for children, young people, and families in South Lanarkshire. Resources

VASLan Locator. This online FREE resource that makes it easy to find third sector services in the South Lanarkshire area. Through the search function, you can search by keyword, category, or location to find out what third sector services are available near you. You can also download it on Android & IOS stores. 

Wellbeing SouthLan. This website is to help young people (10+) in South Lanarkshire access mental health and wellbeing information, as well as local and national support services. Co-produced by young people with support from South Lanarkshire Council and NHS Lanarkshire, this resource makes it easier to find the help that you and they might need.
