Volunteering at Dogs Trust

As part of Volunteers' Week, VASLan's Development Officers, Lisa and Becca, visited the Dogs Trust in Uddingston to talk about their service and their volunteers. They spoke to the Volunteer Manager, Megan, and were given a tour of the facility.

They discussed the importance of volunteers to their organisation and were told that the staff couldn’t do what they do without the volunteers. For Volunteers' Week, each volunteer has been given a certificate and a personal letter thanking them for their work and commitment.

Megan also spoke about how dedicated their volunteers are and how much they care about helping the Dogs Trust, even helping with laundry, and washing over 120 dog bowls every day! For more information about Dogs Trust, you can visit their website: dogstrust.org.uk
