Employer Supported Volunteering with PIRC and BCAG

Lynsay Cooper, Communications Officer Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) approached VASLan to facilitate some Employer Supported Volunteering for their team this Volunteers’ Week and we were delighted to help.

After receiving a huge response from voluntary organisations looking for assistance, PIRC decided to help Biggar Community Action Group (BCAG) and Jan Currie made good use of the extra pairs of hands! The volunteers helped prepare a bungalow for a Ukrainian family who are winging their way to Biggar shortly. 

VASLan would like to say a massive thanks to the PIRC volunteers and to BCAG for offering a great volunteering experience.
