South Lanarkshire Wellbeing Helpline

A helpline is available for individuals living in South Lanarkshire who are self-isolating/vulnerable and whose usual support network is no longer available.    

The helpline will help people to access food and other essential supplies.  The Community Engagement Team within the council have been working  along with VASLAN to collate activity which is happening within communities, and to make contact with new groups and networks which are developing in response to the current situation.  

The helpline number is 0303 123 1009  (operates during core working hours of 09:00 to 17:00)

Scottish Government Helpline

People living in South Lanarkshire should to get in touch directly with the South Lanarkshire Wellbeing Helpline as stated. However, we are aware that some people may have family members or friends that live in other areas of Scotland and require the same level of help and support at this time.

A new national helpline has been set up by the Scottish Government to provide essential assistance to those who don’t have a network of support but who are at high risk of contracting COVID-19.
