VASLan Meet the Funders Event: The National Lottery Community Fund

Event Date

VASLan kicks off the first of its 'Meet the Funder' session in Rutherglen with The National Lottery Community Fund.

The National Lottery Community Fund awards money raised by National Lottery players to fund great ideas that support communities across the UK. If your community group, organisation, charity or social enterprise has an idea for communities in South Lanarkshire and you are interested in hearing about funding with The National Lottery Community Fund, join us for our FREE 'Meet the Funder' event on 29th June 2022 at 10.30 am where you will have the opportunity to meet your local funding officer.

Find out about:

  1. Types of projects that receive funding
  2. What makes a good application
  3. The application processes.

We will be joined by The National Lottery Community Fund’s Lanarkshire Team, who will provide further information about funding opportunities and give you some hints and tips about how you can make the most of your application. During the event, there will be an opportunity for a 1-to-1 session. If you are interested in attending the 1-to-1 session, please ensure to tick the box at the end of the booking page.

The National Lottery Community Fund is currently open for funding applications from not-for-profit organisations, including charities, constituted groups and some Community Interest Companies (CICs). Please have a look at the Fund's website for more detailed information about its grants HERE. They are particularly interested in meeting community groups and organisations that haven’t applied to The National Lottery Community Fund before or haven’t applied for a while.

The space is limited, therefore, please ensure you book your space in advance by clicking the “BOOK YOUR SPACE” button.

If you have any questions, please contact Peter McGhee, Sustainability and Collaboration Development Officer, at peter.mcghee@VASLan.org.uk or phone 07514 658498.
