South Lanarkshire Council is currently preparing Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3)  which, when adopted, will set out the future use of land across South Lanarkshire to meet the needs of the area i.e. housing, transport, healthcare, schools and greenspaces etc.

As part of this process, a series of community engagement events have been scheduled for across March to ensure that the knowledge and lived experience of communities are included, as well as their aspirations for their places.
