Cambuslang & Rutherglen Third Sector Locality Network: Your Locality Needs You.

Following the launch of the Third Sector Locality Networks in September 2022, VASLan is looking to identify organisations in the Cambuslang and Rutherglen locality that might be interested in leading the planning and facilitation of future events in their locality.

The Locality Network structure replaced the previous Third Sector Forum, which ran from 2015; therestructuring proposal, launched in March 2022, details the reasoning behind the move to this new structure and the requirements of organisations or partnerships that wish to lead. With 1.5 years of funding available (£5,000 to deliver the remaining 2x year two events and £10,000 to deliver 4x events during year three), this is an exciting opportunity to lead on behalf of your locality and help drive the agenda to reflect the distinct needs, challenges, and opportunities of its third sector.

With the quarterly Clydesdale, East Kilbride and Hamilton Locality Networks flourishing under locality leadership, we are keen to identify organisations or partnerships to similarly progress the new structure in the Cambuslang and Rutherglen locality.

If your organisation has a presence in the locality and is interested in getting involved, please complete the Locality Networks Lead Application by 5:00 pm on Friday 19th January 2024. For further information on the application process or Third Sector Locality Networks, please contact Stuart Reilly via stuart.reilly@vaslan.org.uk or view the first year review video
