New Fully Funded Programme to help your enterprise journey to net zero

With an increasing appetite amongst non-environmental charities, social enterprises and community groups to do more to address the climate emergency, South Lanarkshire Council working alongside Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire, is looking for social enterprises based in South Lanarkshire to participate in a new Climate Confident Pilot.

This pilot will offer up to 30 enterprises the opportunity to participate in workshop training, receive wraparound support and act towards Net Zero in the development of a new digital tool that will help your organisation to:

  • Find out more about what Net Zero means for your organisation and the support available towards becoming climate confident.
  • Take the first steps to reduce carbon emissions and quickly assess your current impact with a list of suggested actions that you can take.
  • Develop a climate action plan which will include engaging staff, beneficiaries, and partners to take individual and organisational action.
