About the Training
This course will provide participants with an understanding of how advocacy can support unpaid carers and the key building blocks of effective advocacy support. Support carers to:
- Communicate more effectively
- Negotiate more effectively
- Deal with the emotions that can inhibit self-expression
- Increase their independence and confidence
