£600,000 available to help South Lanarkshire’s Net Zero Future!

SSE Renewables and Clyde Wind Farm (Scotland) Ltd have opened a £600,000 Sustainable Development Fund to help community projects in South Lanarkshire to prepare for the climate emergency and a net zero world.

While SSE Renewables build a better world of energy, they are ensuring that local communities have what they need to thrive, both now and in the future. The fund is open to community organisations who can support the net zero transition of the region for example enhancing young people’s STEM skills for the jobs of the future, de-carbonising community transport, community owned renewable projects.

The fund is open until the 18 January 2023.
