The Volunteer Friendly Award is a simple, user-friendly mark of quality signifying excellence in the way organisations manage, support and involve their volunteers. The Award was designed by Volunteer Centre Dundee, with VASLan being the first organisation in South Lanarkshire to achieve the standard required. VASLan are also eligible to assess and present the award to South Lanarkshire organisations.

Our Volunteering Team will work with you to review your volunteer management practices with a view to making any required improvements to get them to the standard required for the Volunteer Friendly Award. In this way, you can help ensure that your organisation is offering its volunteers the support they deserve, while the organisation is also rewarded by gaining official recognition of good practice.
