Nominations Open: 2026 Third Sector Awards
We are pleased to share that nominations are now open for the 2026 Third Sector Awards. Our annual celebration aims to bring the community together to celebrate the substantial contributions of volunteers and voluntary organisations across South Lanarkshire.
Nominations are open until August and finalists will be announced at our Annual General Meeting in September. Click here to nominate.
The 2026 categories are:
1. Greener Futures - This award recognises organisations taking action on climate change, improving their local environment, or helping people connect with nature.
2. Social Enterprise and Sustainability - This award recognises organisations using enterprise and sustainable approaches to support their work and achieve their social purpose.
3. Partnership and Collaboration - This award recognises organisations working effectively with others to deliver better outcomes for communities in South Lanarkshire.
4. Volunteer of the Year - This award celebrates an individual whose exceptional commitment to volunteering has made a meaningful difference to others, inspired those around them, and deserves special recognition.
5. Young Volunteer - This award celebrates young people (up to age 25) who have made a positive impact in their community through volunteering or other contributions. Nominations can be for an individual or a group.
6. Heart of the Community Award - This award celebrates volunteer-led groups making a real difference in their communities, highlighting the impact of people coming together for a shared purpose.
7. Improving Access to Health and Wellbeing - This award recognises organisations improving access to health and wellbeing support, reducing barriers, and promoting inclusion within their communities.
8. Excellence in Community and Family Initiatives - This award recognises organisations or initiatives that support families and communities to thrive through inclusive, compassionate, and impactful work.
