Following on from previous workshops on strategic engagement and funding, this session will focus on commissioning and procurement - exploring existing opportunities and processes, their alignment with fair funding principles, and envisioning together what future community-led, co-produced service design might look like.

This workshop is to explore and improve South Lanarkshire Council’s funding relationship with the third sector, alignment with the Fair Funding Charter, KTBA principles and strategic shared outcomes. To set the groundwork for a new South Lanarkshire Grant Policy and explore models of community funding.

To shape a new strategic relationship between the South Lanarkshire's Third Sector and South Lanarkshire Council that reflects mutual values and understanding. To improve collaboration and strengthen representation of the third sector. This session forms part of the SLC/Third Sector Partnership Review and is a deliberative space for discussion, ideas, suggestions and potential solutions. Please note this is not a decision-making space. Subsequent workshops will focus on the funding relationship, commissioning, and the delivery partner relationship.
