CMHWF Guidance Update

We would like to apologise for an error in the recently published multi-year guidance form for the Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund.


It was stated that organisations have 18 months to spend this grant.  This is incorrect for multi-year grants. Organisations will have 30 months to spend an awarded grant from the date payment is made.

CMHWF Drop-In Session (Cambuslang / Rutherglen)

We are hosting a drop-in session for organisations and groups bases in Cambuslang / Rutherglen who want to apply to the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund. Come and ask questions, get advice and more.

We are delighted that there will be a £30 million boost for the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund 2025/27.

We will be hosting two online information sessions about the next stage of this Fund ahead of applications opening. These sessions are an opportunity to learn more about the Fund, eligibility criteria and how to apply. We recommend that interested groups attend one of these sessions to find out more before applying.

Funding Future for South Lanarkshire

As the second development session in South Lanarkshire’s Third Sector Partnership Review, this Funding Workshop brought together 50 local organisations committed to shaping fairer and more transparent funding practices. 
 
The session built on the momentum of May’s Strategic Engagement Workshop and marked another important milestone in the Keep The Beat Alive journey. 
 
Over two and a half hours of open and constructive dialogue, participants: 
 

Strategic Engagement Workshop: Commissioning

Following on from previous workshops on strategic engagement and funding, this session will focus on commissioning and procurement - exploring existing opportunities and processes, their alignment with fair funding principles, and envisioning together what future community-led, co-produced service design might look like.

Success at First Strategic Workshop

Following the momentum of the successful CPP Development Day on 14 May, South Lanarkshire Council and VASLan co-hosted a Strategic Engagement Workshop on 22 May, bringing together 35 third sector organisations committed to shaping a stronger, fairer South Lanarkshire.

This was the first in a series of partnership review sessions. This session focused on values, voice and vision with future workshops focusing on funding and commissioning.

CPP Engagement Development Day

On Wednesday 14 May, VASLan hosted a powerful day of engagement between the Community Planning Partnership (CPP) and the Third Sector. 

The CPP Development Day brought together key voices from across the third sector and statutory bodies to explore how we can work better together to deliver real change for our communities. Three organisations represented the sector, with VASLan proud to host. The day focused on creating more genuine, resourced and inclusive collaboration within the Community Planning Partnership.
