People in South Lanarkshire urged to take part in Census Coverage Survey

People in South Lanarkshire are being encouraged to take part in the next phase of Scotland’s Census.

The Census Coverage Survey (CCS) is the second largest social research exercise in Scotland after the census itself, covering around 1.5% of households nationwide including some in South Lanarkshire. It is run by National Records of Scotland and, together with census data, it helps to provide an accurate estimate of Scotland’s population and the people within it.

Second Year of Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund: £15 million is confirmed

A further £15 million has been awarded for the second year of the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund to support mental health and wellbeing in communities across Scotland, the Scottish Government confirmed on Saturday (7/5). The funding was launched in October 2021, and it has helped nearly 2,000 community projects to deliver activities and programmes in its first year in Scotland.
