R:evolve Recycle, a unique project managed by LEAP, a charity that works to enhance the lives of older people across Scotland through volunteering, learning, socialising and befriending. R:evolve Recycle boutique swap shop has two shops in Hamilton and Cambuslang, and the aim is to reduce waste and CO2 through textiles products. They want to also educate people on the impact of manufacture and distributing of clothing has on the environment.

If you have brilliant ideas for a project that will making contribution to a cleaner and greening South Lanarkshire, you might want to apply for the funding.

There is an opportunity for the community to access two new grants which will bring people together to tackle climate change and encourage the development of various new project in the community.

A Celebration of South Lanarkshire's Social Enterprise: VASLan Third Sector Forum

On Wednesday 8th December, VASLan Third Sector Forum held a virtual Christmas Market and was joined by colleagues from social enterprises across South Lanarkshire. They showcased their products that are available to purchase as gifts for the festive season.

During the last series of the forum in 2021, we also welcomed our colleagues from Social Enterprise Network Scotland (SENScot) and FirstPort which gave an interesting presentation of support that is available to develop enterprising activities.
