VASLan is now inviting applications from organisations and community groups operating within the Fernhill community, to apply for the small grant scheme created from the legacy funding provided by the Corra Foundation.
The annual VASLan Third Sector Awards are back for 2022 and nominations are now open! VASLan are looking forward to hosting the award to recognise the incredible work and outstanding contribution of the Third Sector in South Lanarkshire. The award ceremony is expected to be held in October 2022.

With the aim to provide information on sources of funding for organisations and community groups across South Lanarkshire, VASLan held a virtual Third Sector Forum on Tuesday 29th March. It’s the first event of 2022.
Attended by as many as 30 representatives of third sector organisations and community groups in South Lanarkshire, the webinar kicked off with an overview of the VASLan Managed Fund. It is a form of funding that is administered and distributed by VASLan on behalf of our partners or the Scottish Government.

The event will announce an update on VASLan managed funds, including the Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund, Integrated Care Fund (ICF) and Building & Celebrating Communities (BCC). It is an open invitation to organisations and community groups all across South Lanarkshire to network and share ideas.

Clydesdale Community Initiatives is delighted to announce a new FREE course on Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) to be delivered over 4 half days from Friday 28th January until 18th February, 9.30 am till noon.
On Friday 26th November, NHS Lanarkshire officials were joined by Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire (VASLan) and Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (VANL) member of staff for a free online information session on current guidance on COVID-19 safety arrangements.
